Qoute of the moment

I'm learning to listen when masks speak. Every mask I create is a part of me, a visible representation of one facet of who I am. We've forgotten to listen. We've forgotten to trust ourselves. We all carry wisdom deep within us. Masks are a vehicle to reconnect with, and learn from, parts of ourselves that have, until now been silent or ignored, but have a great deal to tell us.

We are a small creative business specialising in Handcrafted original masks.
All our masks are designed, created and made in New Zealand.

As artists we like to challenge ourselves by creating beautiful works or art that are new, unique and have a high quality of workmanship.

Our masks are hand made from layers of paper, using the same process as the mask makers of Venice. We have taken this technique and changed it so we are re-using and recycling printer paper instead of using the more absorbent Venetian paper.

We believe our present and future masks reflect this and we hope you enjoy our little pieces of wearable art as much as we did creating them.

The mask makers are artists Rachael & Eilis Galuszewski.
