Kephart Taiz is a sculptor, musician, and performance artist. He is acompany member of Rhythm Of Life, an ensemble based on West African aesthetics. The group facilitates a community experience through drumming, dancing, and singing.
On commission he designs individual and family Life Mask Portraits that reflect the imagination of each person. The co-creative process is an opportunity for self expression in bronze, ceramic, leather, and other mediums. In his workshops he incorporates the art of masquerade with self portraiture
