The imagination holds millions of wonderfully complex and simple spirits who are always ready and willing to help us learn more about who we really are. I honor these spirits by giving them clothes, faces, and bodies to move around in. The gifts they have given me in return are priceless. I invite you to honor your imaginary selves and open to the inner wisdom your creativity will reveal to you. My inner spirits invite your inner spirits to come out and play. The answers to the universe lie within your own heart. -- Lucretia

"Believing that the purpose of art is to explore humanity and that art comes alive when it relates to people's lives, my art draws on multicultural themes and engages participation. Working as a bridge between cultures has led me to develop diverse themes steeped in myth, ritual, and archetype. I've created over 600 metal sculptured masks and have performed with them throughout the world (thus far in 29 countries). By studying the myths and mask-work of eastern and western cultures, I continue to infuse my art with this timeless material.

"Each of my masks is hand made with great attention to detail and construction, making them as comfortable to wear as they are enjoyable to look at. They are formed over a wire rimmed, vinyl base that stays slightly fexible around the edges, alowing them to fit a wide variety of face shapes. They are then decorated with feathers, fabric and floral leaves. Eyes, noses and beaks are made of a light-wieght, air drying modelling material, then sealed with paper-mache, acryilcs and polyurethane."
