These traditional Pueblo Indian stories, originally told by company member John Jaramillo's great grandfather, have been adapted for the stage by Artistic Director Sandra Hughes. Coyote Blue and Coyote Old Man are in constant, comic conflict. Episodes include: Stealing Chickens, Teacher of the Bees, Holding up the Mesa, Hailstorm in a Sack, The Moon Cheese and more! Utilizing masks, make-up, mime, puppetry and humorous dialogue, Coyote Tales is the perfect production for family audiences. Running time is 1 hour without intermission. Additional programs are available for presenters who wish to create community residencies.
