"I was born in 1946 in Ancash, Peru. I am a self-taught artist, dedicating myself to ceramics and craftmaking since my youth. I specialize in masks influenced by the Vicus, Mochica, and Nazca cultures. I focus largely on the mix of form and color, and despite a lack of formal training I have created a unique, personal style. I try to always remember my roots, while also learning from my readings and travels.
